Terrain

The Terrain module provides facility for generation of DTM from contour map and calculation of slope, aspect and generates relative relief map using DTM.The area visbility and profile plotting of generated DTM can also be carried out.this functionalities provide support in a variety of applications including watershed management, groundwater studies, landuse planning, infrastructure development etc.

Terrain module in GRAM++ has the following capabilities:

• Generates Digital Terrain Model from contour data using spatial interpolation techniques.


• Derives Slope, Aspect and relief maps from DEM.


• Performs visibility analysis and profile plotting operation on generated DTM.


• Generates shaded relief map
